About this template
A mood tracker only helps if you can see the trend, so this template is built around ratings and numbers rather than long writing. Mood, energy and anxiety each get a star rating, hours of sleep is a number, and a multiple-choice question records what dominated the day. Custom Journal charts every rating and number over time, which turns two weeks of thirty-second check-ins into a graph you can show a therapist or doctor.
It is designed for people managing anxiety, low mood, burnout or a medication change who have been told to keep a mood diary and found the paper version too much work. Two short prompts at the end leave room for context when you want it, and are fine to skip when you do not.
How to use it
- Fill it in at the same time every evening; consistency matters more than detail.
- Rate honestly and quickly. The first number that comes to mind is usually the right one.
- Use the “what shaped today” question to spot triggers. After a few weeks, the pattern is often obvious.
- Open Stats in the app to see mood against sleep. That comparison is the one most people find useful.
