About this template
Students who write down what they studied remember more of it, partly because the writing is a review and partly because it makes gaps obvious. This template logs the day’s hours as a number, the subjects covered, and then asks the two questions that matter: what you now understand that you did not this morning, and what is still confusing. That second list becomes tomorrow’s starting point and, before an exam, the review list.
It is for high school and college students, people studying for professional exams, and adults learning a language or a skill on their own. The focus rating and hours chart in Stats show whether long sessions are actually productive, and the habit checklist is a good home for the things that make studying work: phone in another room, started before noon, took real breaks.
How to use it
- Log at the end of each study day, even a short one. Zero-hour days are useful data too.
- Write the “still confused about” list in questions, so you know what to look up.
- The week before an exam, scroll back through the confused-about lists. That is your review plan.
